LP4 Lincoln Cent, The Presidency Penny

The LP4 is known as "The Presidency" cent released is the fourth and final one cent coin released in the last quarter of 2009. The LP4 penny commemorates Lincoln's years as President from 1861 - 1865. The reverse side of the LP4 shows the Nation's Capital building under construction.

Final LP4 production figures will be posted early in 2010.

A unopened, sealed box of LP4 rolls from the US Mint is a must have if you plan on completing the four coin set. These sealed boxes can be found for sale below and on eBay.

The LP4 US Mint boxes contain one roll of "P" (Philadelphia Mint) and one roll of "D" (Denver Mint) coins.
